SCAVENGER HUNT CONTEST AND SWEEPSTAKES

OFFICIAL RULES

1. Eligibility.

The Chris Brown Fortune Contest and Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia (excluding its possessions and territories) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of June 18, 2012. Employees, agents or officers of Sony Music Entertainment (“Sponsor”), Chris Brown, their respective agents or employees or of any entity involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of the Promotion, which is comprised of a series of daily scavenger hunts (“Contest”) and an enter-to-win random drawing (“Sweepstakes”), including any advertising or promotion agency, supplier of prizes for the Promotion, parent company, service provider, subsidiary or affiliate of any such entity or any other entity directly associated with the Promotion (collectively, “Promotion Entities”) or any member of the immediate family of and/or person living in the same household as such persons, are ineligible to enter the Promotion. The Promotion will run concurrently with similar promotions hosted on the Site (as defined below) which are open to entrants in territories outside the United States. The Promotion is void where restricted or prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter the Promotion.

Entering the Contest: To enter the Contest portion of the Promotion, visit www.scavengerhunt.chrisbrownworld.com (“Promotion Site”) between 12:00 p.m. EDT on June 18, 2012 and on July 1, 2012 when the final Daily Contest Winner is selected (“Contest Period”). Each calendar day during the Contest Period (as defined below), Sponsor will post one (1) clue to be solved by Contest entrants. Once an entrant has submitted the correct answer to the clue to the Promotion Site, one of the symbols from Chris Brown’s new album (“Symbol”) will be revealed. The first eligible entrant each calendar day who submits the correct answer of that calendar day’s clue, as determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, will be deemed such calendar day’s Contest Winner (“Daily Contest Winner”).

Only one Daily Contest prize per person. Daily Contest Winners are eligible for Sweepstakes Grand Prize

Entering the Sweepstakes: All eligible entrants who have participated in the Contest, including the Daily Contest Winners, may enter the Sweepstakes portion of the Promotion. To enter the Sweepstakes, navigate to the Promotion Site between 10:00 a.m. EDT on July 2, 2012 through 11:59:59 a.m. EDT on July 6, 2012 (“Sweepstakes Period”). All fourteen (14) decoded Symbols will be available on the Promotion Site for entrants to create a URL address (“Sweepstakes URL”). Using the translation of the Symbols, navigate to the Sweepstakes URL and follow the instructions to enter, including providing the information requested on entry form.

. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, Sponsor and these Official Rules and to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Sponsor, and those working for Sponsor or on behalf of Sponsor, will not be responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or postage due mail or e-mail, or for Internet, computer hardware and software, phone, and/or any other technical errors, malfunctions, and delays. Entries which are mutilated, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are also void.

Entries may not contain references which are obscene, crude or vulgar, and/or which contain gang identification, references to commercial products, license plate numbers, phone numbers, personal addresses (physical or email), Web site URLs, derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual or religious groups, references to illegal or inappropriate activity, behavior or conduct, or any other references that could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

3. Winner Selection & Prizes.

Fourteen (14) Daily Contest Winners will be selected. Each Daily Contest Winner will be the first eligible entrant to submit the correct answer for the daily clue pertaining to each Symbol. Each Daily Contest Winner will receive an autographed item signed by Chris Brown.

One (1) Sweepstakes Winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about July 7, 2012 from all eligible entries received.

The Sweepstakes Winner shall receive a trip to one of the following cities, per his or her selection: New York, NY; Miami, FL; Los Angeles, CA or Las Vegas, NV (“Prize City”), which shall include the following:

· Two (2) round trip airline tickets (economy coach class) from the major airport nearest Winner’s home in the United States to a Prize City airport (as determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor). If the Winner lives within One Hundred (100) miles of Prize City, as determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, Sponsor may substitute ground transportation instead of air transportation;

· Two (2) nights’ hotel accommodation (standard, one room, double occupancy) in or around Prize City;

· Dinner for two (2) at one of Chris’ favorite restaurants in Prize City; and

· Two (2) passes or tickets to a Prize City event or activity that is a favorite of Chris’.

All Winners and Sweepstakes Winner’s travel companion must be at least eighteen (18) years old as of June 18, 2012. If any Winner or Sweepstakes Winner’s travel companion is under the age of majority in the state in which he or she resides as of June 18, 2012, then such individual must obtain written permission from his or her parent or legal guardian before accepting the prize or accompanying the Winner. Sweepstakes Winner and travel companion must travel under the same itinerary. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. Prizes may not be sold, bartered or transferred. Airline tickets are non-reroutable, non-refundable and the validity may not be extended. Prizes do not include any additional expenses, including, but not limited to incidentals, meals, telephone charges, travel insurance, souvenirs, upgraded, extended or otherwise altered transportation, ground transportation, federal, state and local sales or other taxes and surcharges which are the responsibility of each Winner.

Approximate combined retail value of all Contest prizes is Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00). Approximate combined retail value of all Sweepstakes prizes is Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). This value may vary depending on various factors, including travel itinerary and costs of air transportation at time of award. The approximate retail value of the prizes represents Sponsor’s good faith determination. That determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prizes turns out to be less than the stated approximate retail value, the difference will not be awarded in cash.

All Winners and Sweepstakes Winner’s travel companion will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within four (4) calendar days of prize notification. If the Winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit or otherwise rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Sweepstakes rules and requirements, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

By accepting the prize, Winner releases and discharges Promotion Entities, their respective representatives, affiliated companies and the respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies of each, and all their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from any liability or damage due in whole or in part to the award, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or from participation in this Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value for any prize, or to pay Winner a cash equivalent (the value of which shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), for any reason.

If, for reasons beyond the control of Sponsor (including, but not limited to, tampering or computer virus infection), the Promotion is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion, without liability. If a sufficient number of eligible entries (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) are not received by the end of the Promotion period, Sponsor reserves the right not to award any or all prizes. All taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes) are the sole responsibility of Winner. All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Promotion and any person who does not comply with these Official Rules, will be ineligible for any prize and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

5. Issues of Law.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations are applicable. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) LOCATED IN NEW YORK CITY SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE PROMOTION AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL EXCLUSIVELY GOVERN THE PROMOTION. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. The Promotion is void where restricted or prohibited by law.

6. Your Release of Sponsor from Any and All Liability.

Entrants agree that Promotion Entities and their respective representatives shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from: (i) acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of prize(s), (ii) participation in the Promotion, (iii) individual, joint or collective technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, computer on-line system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, hardware and/or software, or (iv) any delay or distortion of an entry resulting from data transmissions that are garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants also agree that Sponsor and/or its representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant's or third person's computer related to or resulting from the Promotion and/or its prizes. Sponsor is not liable for damage to a user's computer system (including, without limitation, any server failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction) due, either directly or indirectly, to an entrant's participation in the Promotion or downloading of information in connection with the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Promotion in the event that any portion of any website used to administer any aspect of the Promotion becomes technically corrupted.

7. How to Get More Information
